You must have been pissed at the time, if you can't remember.

We've all been there.

Seriously, what the fuck are you on about? I was 'giving it large' after he played 5 games? What does that even mean exactly? All I've ever said is that when he is fit he should start, where you think that he should be a sub. That's it, stop fucking arguing about nothing you clown.

Roeder

You said that Carroll is 'effectlvely one dimensional with his nut' Tomshardware then points out that this isn't true, as he correctly says that he has scored some good goals with his feet, and you then ask him what his point is??

Hahaha. You would only ever read that type of nonsense on here.

Take it you didn't see Carrol's goals against Palace, Southampton, Hull?

Yes I did.. what's your point? Yes he does occassionallly score with his feet and has scored some good goals from the deck, but the majority of goals are headers. Obviously.

He can be very slow and lumbering with the ball, he's no Zlatan who has quick feet for a big guy. With our already ponderous & slow style (noble & snograss main culprits) we need some pace upfront.

We are hardly giving AC any crosses anyway, hence few goals. Remove ariel threat from AC's game and he's a passenger.

If there were any way we could get rid it would be the best thing to do but he won't go.

"played just 41% of the possible minutes in the PL" you sure it's actually that much?

Russ

whilst that seems like one idea unless we can cut a deal then paying him off will impact on us being able to use the money to bring in another player. for instance, he earns 90k a week apparently. with two years left if we pay him off then that's 180k per week from our wage budget right away for next season.

Re: Carrol injured again
They may just aswell as terminate his contract, pay him what he owes and send him on his way.

Re: Carrol injured again
Since Andy Carroll made his début for West Ham, he's had 22 separate injuries & played just 41% of the possible minutes in the PL

Er no, you're not getting away with that.

What I have been saying for 2 years is that you CANNOT go into a season relying on him as your main striker. He should never start games, hence use him as an impact sub and nothing else, that way you are not relying on him, and if he breaks down, it's not a disaster, like it is now. He has yet to play more than half the games in any of the 5 full seasons he has spent with us. It's not hard to understand.

YOU were the one coming on here giving it large after he managed 5 games in a row, calling out everyone who dared suggest the above.

Re: Carrol injured again
Carroll is out best player for 2-3 games a season when fit.

For the other games he's either injured, ineffective or not interested.

Even when he's fit he never plays well for more than a few games.

if Carroll was a race horse he'd have been shot years ago

Sakho's not garbage. But to be honest both him and Carrol have to go end of.

Need to spend 50m on 2 new strikers this summer

Sakho is not garbage. He may be a cunt for the way he has behaved, and prone to injury, but he's not garbage.

'Sakho is the best striker we have. If he had been injury free and playing with Payet he'd have scored a hat full'

Sakho is garbage, a one season wonder at best. He wouldn't score a hat full even if against teams with no keeper.

Re: Carrol injured again
Arguably our best player? Carroll? Seriously?
He's affective one dimensionally, with his nut. Ever since Payet left that main supply line has gone, nobody seems capable of getting in a good cross nevermind trying at the moment.

Sakho is the best striker we have, he has far more strings to his bow - not reliant purely on crosses to score. He has pace, good feet and decent header. If he had been injury free and playing with Payet he'd have scored a hat full.
